A Burns Night banquet in aid of Mayo Roscommon Hospice took place at Glen Keen Farm and Visitor Centre on Friday January 25. The event was organised by Pauline Graham and Michael Quinn from Louisburgh Music School, in partnership with chef John Groden (Table 14 restaurant) and Catherine O’Grady-Powers from Glen Keen Farm.

The Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin was transformed into a sea of green and red last Saturday night which saw the Mayo Association Dublin celebrate their annual awards gala The Yew Tree Ball.

Irelands largest coffee morning for Hospice is set to make a welcome return this month as thousands of people across the nation come together to support their local Hospice on Thursday September 20, by hosting coffee mornings in their homes, workplace and within their local community.

Staff of Bank of Ireland branches in Mayo will host a Fashion Show to raise funds for their chosen Charity, Mayo Roscommon Hospice. All funds raised will go directly towards building the new Mayo Hospice Unit in Castlebar.

Preparations are currently well underway for the annual Mayo Roscommon Hospice Memorial Walk which takes place across the region this coming Sunday September 9. The walk now in its fifth year, will see hundreds of people in five different locations across Mayo and Roscommon, participating in a 5km leisurely stroll in memory of a friend, a family member or a loved one.

Due to its incredible success last year, the second Partry FolkFest will take place on Saturday, June 16, at The Village Inn, Partry from 2pm until late.
